College of Physicians Wedding | Sarah & Mikaela

If you’ve found this post from my Best Wedding Venues in Philadelphia article, you already know that I love the College of Physicians as a wedding venue for how unique, but elegant it is.  When I say unique, your guests have access to the Mutter Museum.  If you don’t know what that is click the link and check it out!  At the same time, you’re treated to pure elegance everywhere you look.  From the fine art in the cocktail hour, to the marble staircases, and then the antique hardwoods and massive ceilings of the ballroom.

Sarah & Mikaela also got ready in my absolute favorite hotel in the entire city of Philadelphia, Hotel Lokal in Old City.  If you aren’t sure where in the city to stay for your wedding day, you need to check this place out!  It’s a boutique hotel with a high end urban chic flare to it.  I think that would be the best way to describe it.  The best part is just how beautiful the architecture photographs along with the beautiful light that is plentiful through every room in the building.  It doesn’t hurt either that staying here puts you in the heart of Old City for some fun before and after the wedding.

Staying at Hotel Lokal put City Hall right between us and the College of Physicians.  So we made a quick stop there for a first look and some epic portraits before heading off to the venue.

I think that the photos will show just how amazing and perfect this day was.  Between the wedding itself at the College of Physicians to the little moments between Sarah & Mikaela.  This will be a day I will always remember!
