There is nothing I love more than being out in the wilderness. From backcountry trips in Katmai & Denali to wildlife photography all over the country. It’s where I feel at home. It’s no wonder that as of 2020 I’ve decided to spend more time in the wilderness by booking more elopement weddings and adventure sessions.
This adventure session was in the iconic Yosemite National Park. If you’ve never been to Yosemite you will be amazed. It’s rare in todays society that you can say a photo doesn’t do something justice. But Yosemite is one of those places! You think the photos aren’t real and then you see these epic granite peaks with your own eyes and realize, not only are they real, but they are truly amazing.
For this Yosemite adventure session we started early to beat the crowds up to Glacier Point. From there we headed back into the valley and mixed in some plain clothes photos. When we are doing these sessions on a different day than the elopement. It can be nice to mix in non-wedding dresses and tuxes. Not that those aren’t amazing! But it gives the couple options when it comes to wall art.
